Last summer, I wrote this blog to encourage people who want to become "makers", to start with copying other peoples work. Last week, when I worked on the "LEGO-Copy-Machine" together with Felienne, I realised that my LEGO skills could use some dusting off.
Therefore, I decided to copy work from someone else, in this case: I copied the MindCuber. The MindCuber is a LEGO-Mindstorm robot that solves the Rubiks Cube. See the video below for my MindCuber in action.
Upon completion, during the first test run, I found out that non only my LEGO skills, but also my old Rubiks Cube could use some dusting off. It was so dusty, that the LEGO-servo-motors were not able to turn it. Which also gave me the opportunity to find out how this marvellous piece of toy actually works: fascinating!
